About

Dr. Magidson studied psychology at Dartmouth College, received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park, and completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her clinical training has focused on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, and adjustments, as well as adherence and self-care to promote healthy behavior change. She has experience collaborating with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and other health providers. She has been trained in nature-informed therapy approaches and how to deliver evidence-based care outdoors.

She has a deep personal passion for nature and being in the outdoors. Starting as a child from fishing with her grandparents at the lake and hiking in the mountains in Idaho, she is now bringing her love for exploring the outdoors to her three young children (and clients!). She spends as much time as she can outside, on the trail, and near the creek. She is equally as passionate about supporting women through the journeys of building their families–whatever that journey brings, from fertility to pregnancy, postpartum and beyond–and how we can live purposeful, meaningful lives with balance.
